Please note, the plug is not suitable for European electrical outlets. To use this resistance, you must be aware that the entire metal (heating) part must be immersed in the liquid to be heated: before plugging in the device, and during heating. For safety, you must stay in front of your cup/bowl during heating because the resistance is hot (it happens quickly), unplug before removing the resistance from the cup, and place it directly on something metal or in a cup of cold water while it cools. It suits my needs.

Works well, but the cable is a bit short, requiring you to be close to the outlet or use an extension cord. The power plug pins are not the same as those used in France, so you'll need to do some DIY and install a male plug yourself to use it. 600W (576W according to my meter) is adequate; it heated half a liter of water to 75°C in 4 minutes (be sure to have a suitable surface on which to place the hot element after use).

As the product is described on your web pages, we assume that the electrical plug is French. But no! It's US. So buy an adapter for this item and what else? It's a real scam!
