Description

General description

The thermostatic mixing valve is specifically designed for hot water systems, making it ideal for use in electric water heaters, solar water heaters, and central hot water supply systems. This valve allows users to adjust the temperature of mixed hot and cold water according to their preferences, ensuring a stable outlet temperature that is unaffected by variations in water temperature, flow rate, or pressure. In the event of a cold water interruption, the valve automatically cuts off the hot water supply within seconds, providing an essential safety feature.

Technical specifications

  • Working pressure: 0.05 MPa - 1 MPa
  • Ideal pressure: 0.1 MPa - 0.5 MPa (a pressure reducing valve is required if it exceeds 0.5 MPa)
  • Standard pressure: dynamic pressure 0.3 ± 0.02 MPa
  • Cold water supply temperature: 4 - 29°C
  • Hot water supply temperature: 55 - 85°C
  • Recommended normal use temperature: 60 - 70°C
  • Constant temperature outlet water temperature range: 20 - 50°C
  • Safety button temperature setting: 38°C
  • Temperature fluctuation of discharged water: within ±1°C
  • Outlet water temperature stability: fluctuations within ±2°C when inlet water temperature remains unchanged
  • Usage

The thermostatic mixing valve is designed to maintain a consistent outlet water temperature, allowing users to set their desired temperature easily. Once the temperature adjustment knob is set, the valve automatically regulates the proportion of hot and cold water to ensure the outlet temperature remains stable, even with fluctuations in water pressure or temperature.
