Description

General description

The throttle body is a crucial component that regulates the amount of air entering the engine. It connects the air filter at the top to the engine block at the bottom, known as the throat of the engine. There are two types of throttle valves: traditional cable type and electronic throttle. The traditional mechanism operates through a cable linked to the accelerator pedal, while the electronic throttle uses a throttle position sensor to adjust the opening angle based on the engine's energy requirements.
