The Tileasy 10mm Wet Diamond Drill Bit makes neat holes through ceramic and porcelain tiles for fixings, brackets and accessories. It's a handy size for wall plugs when you're putting up towel rails, toilet roll holders and shower fittings on a tiled wall.
Wet drilling is the method this bit is made for: wet drilling, where a little water keeps the bit cool and helps reduce dust. Diamond is one of the best materials for cutting through hard tiles, helping you make clean, accurate holes with fewer chips around the edge. The wet method is kinder to the bit too, helping it last longer between jobs.
The bit is 10mm in diameter and 55mm long, and it's finished in chrome. It fits your drill, so you can get started with the tools you already have.
For the best results, start slowly to stop the bit wandering, keep the tile wet as you drill and let the diamond do the work rather than pressing too hard. Masking tape over the spot you're drilling helps the bit grip at the start.
