Are you looking to secure a private area with a key lock and a convenient button inside? Our button locks are ideal for your garage, cellar, or as additional security on your doors.
Button locks are rarely a complete security measure on their own.
They are more commonly used as additional devices to reinforce the security of a door. Generally, entrance or other doors equipped with a lock also have a built-in or surface-mounted lock with a handle or knob.
The main advantage of the lock is that it can slow down burglars for a relatively low cost (entry-level at less than 10 euros on ManoMano).
Indeed, in today's security market there is no affordable device that can provide 100% reliable security against intruders. However, a door with multiple locks and a complex system will make it difficult for pickers, depriving them of their best assets (patience and precision) and therefore preventing your home from being accessible to any novice.
Your goal is to have a complex and complete security system while hiding its components as much as possible. An unidentified security device is nearly impossible to bypass.
A final tip, remember to check the compatibility of your model with the width of your door.
Standard doors are between 38 and 42 mm wide, but some heavy entrance doors are more than 45 mm thick. For these, mostly armored or very old doors, opt for a lock designed for that purpose or replace the supplied cylinder with a longer one.
