Description

General description

The TIMco Wing Tip light section screw is engineered for securely attaching wood to light section steel, with a maximum thickness of 5mm. Its innovative design features a coarse self-tapping thread with wings that ream out the timber, allowing the screw to achieve maximum revolutions per minute (R.P.M.) without overheating. Upon contact with metal, the wings break off, enabling the thread to self-tap into the metal for a strong hold.
