Absolutely ideal for gouges—round, flat, V-shaped. I didn't have the right tools to sharpen them, and with just one tool, I can do almost everything. The seller even included some candy; it might not have been much, but it was a lovely touch, especially with the little jar inside. Really nice! I recommend both the tool and the shop. I was just surprised to receive a shoebox-sized package for a tool the size of a pack of cigarettes, but with the candy and the chocolates, I forgot all about it and got straight to sharpening. So, in conclusion: shipped by LEGNOTOOLS, a small aluminum tool that's incredibly useful, €31-32, which is very reasonable for this absolutely essential tool in the workshop. The seller was very friendly and quick, including a note and a gift. Very fast delivery, happy customer, etc., etc.
