I was a bit taken by surprise by the fact that you have to turn them both inwards for 'on' and outwards for 'off' which was counterintuitive and has taken a bit of getting used to, but I believe it's because of the ceramic discs which I haven't had before. It's absolutely fine though and for the price I would definitely recommend. I must add that this review is about the individual basin taps and not a mixer tap.
