For either frame or door applications, the Trend C221 Intumescent Cutter is designed to cut grooves that accept standard Intumescent Strip, creating effective barriers against fire and smoke. This tool allows for the introduction of different seal thicknesses by using alternative ball bearings, which can be purchased separately.
