GENERAL DESCRIPTION

This solid brass round thermostatic exposed shower mixer valve with a chrome dual kit riser pack features a sleek and modern design. It includes an ultra-thin 8'' (200mm) round shower head with an adjustable swivel joint. The thermostatic shower mixer allows you to control the flow and temperature of your shower, making it suitable for any modern bathroom. The left handle controls the water flow, while the right handle adjusts the temperature, ranging from 20-50 degrees Celsius, with a safety stop preset at 38 degrees Celsius for comfort and safety. The diverter on the bar valve allows switching between the shower head and handheld shower. The riser rail height is adjustable from 800mm to 1150mm, and it includes a 360-degree adjustable bracket for the handheld shower.

INSTALLATION

Ensure the thermostatic mixer valve has inlets at approximately 150mm centers and 3/4" thread fittings. Fit inlet pipes in 15mm copper tube at 150mm centers, allowing for 2mm adjustment. Fit the wall plate over the copper tube, drill holes, and fit wall plugs. Tighten the chrome plated threaded adaptor to seal on the 15mm tube. Check the TMV fits to the wall plates, adjust for level, and tighten screws. Fit the cover plates provided with the thermostatic bar valve.

Happy with value for money and quality almost good enough. Just grub screws on upper wall fixing won’t engage when spindle is inserted so I had to drill this spindle to get the grub screw to engage. It’s also going to be prone to rust now. Slider on thermostat override a bit fiddly compared to usual push button, but just a minor point. Otherwise good value for money.
