The UNIOR Chain Wear Indicator is a precision tool made from laser-cut steel, designed to accurately assess the wear of bicycle chains. It serves as a "go - no go" gauge, helping to prevent damage to sprockets caused by worn chains.

Technical specifications

  • Material: Laser-cut steel
  • Measurement range: 0 to 0.6% (no chain wear), 0.7 to 1.2% (chain is worn out and needs replacement)

    • Usage

    To use the tool, simply insert it into the chain to determine its wear level. A worn chain shifts poorly and can cause damage to the sprockets, making regular checks essential for maintenance.
