The mirror seems robust and arrived in good condition, well packaged. I only see one drawback, 10x magnification may be too much to use for makeup, you have to be very close to the mirror to be able to see yourself, if you move it goes out of focus and you can't see yourself. I didn't think that x10 would increase the image so much
