Product information
Description
Easy to use: Welding electrodes are suitable for complete welding by young welders. Only a small heating device is required. The strength of the weld after welding is generally higher than the strength of the base metal itself.
No solder powder required: There is no need to use other flux powders with aluminum alloys since the welding core and coating are the basis. Very convenient and easy to weld.
High performance: Using internal powder, the welding wire has a sufficient and uniform welding effect. It also has a low melting point, high weldability and corrosion resistance, high thermal conductivity, high electrical conductivity, and excellent processing properties.
Welding effect: It can repair aluminum alloys that some people think cannot be repaired, even severely corroded or oil-contaminated white metals can be repaired.
Applications: This low-temperature aluminum welding wire can weld almost all white metals, including aluminum, aluminum alloy, cast aluminum, aluminum-magnesium alloy, etc. High strength, good forgeability and good corrosion resistance.
Features:
Material: Aluminum.
Color: Silver.
Melting Point: 647 / 658.
Diameter: 2 mm.
Package: 50 aluminum welding wires (33 cm / 50 cm).
Instructions:
Step 1: Polish the surface by physical cleaning.
Step 2: Heat the surface of the base metal until it reaches the operating temperature of the welding wire of 450 °C or above, so that the weld can be formed by the heat conduction welding wire of the base metal. Do not use the flame welding wire. When the surface temperature is sufficient, the wire can slide and penetrate well.
Step 3: When repairing relatively thin aluminum, simply heat the aluminum to a suitable operating temperature, then use a wire and a wire brush to rub back and forth to form a weld.
Caution:
1. The surface must be clean.
2. The temperature of the base metal must be maintained at 450°C during the welding process and cannot be lower.
3. Avoid using flames to deliberately burn the wire. After the temperature reaches 450°C, the wire will naturally depend on the thermal conductivity of the base material.
