Product information

Description

General Description

The low-temperature aluminum welding rod is designed to make welding easier, even for novice operators. With a diameter of 2 mm and a length of 33 cm, these welding electrodes melt easily and offer excellent corrosion resistance. They allow welding various white metals, including aluminum and its alloys, while guaranteeing a high-performance weld.

Technical Specifications

  • Material: Aluminum
  • Color: Silver
  • Melting Point: 647/658 °C
  • Diameter: 2 mm
  • Length: 33 cm
  • Quantity: 50 pieces

Installation

  • Step 1: Polish the surface by physical cleaning.
  • Step 2: Heat the base metal surface to a temperature of 450 °C or higher.
  • Step 3: For repairs of thin aluminum, heat to the appropriate temperature and scrub with wire and a wire brush.

Use

These welding electrodes are ideal for repairing Aluminum alloys, even those heavily corroded or contaminated with oil. They do not require additional welding powder, as the core and coating of the rod are sufficient for effective welding.

Other Information

  • Caution: The surface must be cleaned before welding.
  • Maintain the base metal temperature at 450°C during the welding process.
  • Avoid using flames to burn the wire, as this depends on the thermal conductivity of the base material.
