Installation

This thermostatic valve can be installed on either the flow or return pipework in any orientation.

It is designed to be used in conjunction with a system automatic bypass valve, which is a requirement for all new installations and boiler upgrades.

Usage

TRVs are installed on the flow rather than the return pipework of a radiator.

All bi-directional TRVs from any manufacturer require a bypass valve to function correctly and avoid radiator hammer.
