Installation

This thermostatic valve can be installed on either the flow or return pipework in any orientation. It is recommended to use the TRV in conjunction with a system automatic bypass valve, which is a requirement for all new installations and boiler upgrades.

Usage

The TRV is designed to be installed on the flow rather than the return pipework of a radiator. It is important to note that all bi-directional TRVs from any manufacturer require a bypass valve to function correctly and prevent radiator hammer.
