Description

General description

WS38B FloPlast waste reducer is designed to connect a 32mm waste pipe into a 40mm pipe, typically with the 32mm pipe dropping into the 40mm pipe that runs towards the soil pipe. It is commonly used in the branch of a 40mm tee or at one end of a 40mm coupling.

    • Installation

  • Ensure that the outer wall of the pipe and the inner wall of the fitting are clean and free from grit or swarf.
  • Apply SC250 solvent cement to both surfaces.
  • Push the pipe fully into the fitting and twist to ensure full contact.
  • Clean off any excess solvent with a damp cloth.
  • Leave for 5 minutes to set.
  • Allow the installation to cure for 12 hours before testing.
