Pilot Bearing Puller 12 - 38 mm YATO

I wanted to extract 2 bearings 6304 (Dia Int 20 Ep 15 mm) and 6205 (Dia Int 25 Ep 15 mm) from a small trailer hub, impossible to do. Despite a maximum adjustment of finger approximation, during extraction, the lugs of the 3 three fingers slid along the cage and did not catch on the inner bearing cage. The lugs supposed to hook the inner cage are not long enough in my opinion because the outer edges of the inner rolling cage are rounded, which explains why too short fingers do not hook. cdl

Everything is perfect, except that when I tried to take out the first bearing, one of the three claws snappe, leaving only two! What's more, the rod got stuck! The product is fragile.

It's hard for me to leave an opinion because I broke the claw the first time I used it. It was primarily due to the mishandling of the machine by myself (It wouldn't open as wide as I needed it to, so I forced it and it broke one of the claws. That being said, the machine is rather well-made. It would be suitable for situations where the inside claws can fit inside the ring or come out the other side. If, like me, you need to use it in a closed setting, an extractor with an impact hammer would be the best! All that aside, since I had this impact kit, which is barely any more expensive, I have no regrets!
