It is unthinkable to carry out fixation work using chemical anchoring technique without thinking of using a rod for chemical anchoring. Available in various formats and different sizes, you will choose the rod depending on the use you plan to make of it and also the place where you intend to fix your object.
Robust and resistant, chemical anchoring is the ideal technique for fixing heavy objects on hollow materials such as hollow brick, hollow concrete block or breeze block, but also on solid materials such as solid brick, natural stone or concrete. To do this, you need to use a threaded rod. The choice of the rod for chemical anchoring depends on several criteria such as the dimensions and weight of the piece to be suspended. You must therefore determine in advance the weight of the piece in question before choosing the rod. Then, check the diameter of the rod for chemical anchoring to know the maximum resistance it can support. When you drill the hole in which you will fix the object, make sure its diameter is larger than the threaded rod. Clean the hole well before inserting the rod to avoid the accumulation of dust.
