Whatever the tank and furniture selected, some rules must be respected during their installation:
- a location directly exposed to sunlight should be avoided to prevent heating up the tank;
- areas prone to drafts are also to be avoided to prevent the tank from cooling down abruptly.
Thus, the choice of terrarium and furniture depends on many parameters such as the chosen species (crawling or arboreal), the type of environment to arrange (tropical, desert, or aquatic), and the planned location in the room.
