Football Goal Post DIY Project
What you’ll need:
12 x PVC pipes (2 x 5ft pieces, 2 x 4ft pieces, 2 x 3ft pieces, and 6 x 20in pieces: you can vary the lengths depending on the desired size of your goal)
6 x elbow joints
4 x T-Joints
Adhesive glue
A net (can be bought separately)
Step 1: Prepare the pipes
First and foremost, you need to have enough piping for the size goal you want. If the PVC pipes are too long, cut them to size with a circular saw.
Step 2: Goal frame
Once you have all the material ready, start assembling the goal! Use the T-Joints to join 3 x 20in pieces for the top and repeat for the bottom.
Step 3: Complete the structure
Add the 5ft pieces to create the back frame. Using an elbow joint, add the 3ft pipes on each end of the bottom of the back frame. Complete the structure with the 4ft pieces for the side posts.
Step 4: Fix everything into place
Once you have all of the pieces in the right place, carefully take it apart and fix the PVC pipes together with glue to avoid any catastrophes!
Step 5: Finishing touches
Add the net to avoid foul play! Don’t forget to tie the net securely so that it doesn’t take off in the wind!
Ready? It’s time for kick-off!!
