Discover our wide selection of remote controls, keyboards, and other transmitters for alarms.
ManoMano offers you affordable models of boxes, pendants, and controllers. They can be wired or wireless, in single frequency or dual band (bi-band). They are compatible with the alarms from the major brands: NICE France, Wolfguard…
The purpose of an alarm controller is primarily to make the management of your system easier. Depending on your lifestyle, age, the size of your property, and other criteria, you will need a different control system. To help you choose the solution best suited to your needs, here are some important criteria for an alarm controller.
Depending on your movements, you will choose a more or less mobile controller. A remote control or transmitter is the ideal tool for people who are very active over large areas, with an average range of 50 to 80 meters in open space, allowing you to control and manage the primary functions of your console while moving around your home.
Keyboards, on the other hand, offer more functions and a better synthesis of the status of your security system. Some are equipped with LEDs that confirm by a light signal (green, orange, or red) the status of the commanded task. For example, a red signal indicates that a window or door has been left open in the zone where you wish to activate your detectors. This type is ideal for complex systems with multiple zones to manage.
Emergency boxes and pendants, on the other hand, are equipped with a large brightly colored button that, when activated, triggers sirens and sends voice and written messages. They are very practical for elderly or mobility-impaired people. Equip yourself with a pendant and place boxes in your home to signal a malaise, fall, or other accident in any situation.
Other criteria to analyze include the frequency of use (for wireless ones). This defines which radio frequency your detectors, keyboards, consoles, and transmitters will communicate on. Single-frequency devices generally communicate on a frequency of 433.92 MHz with a tolerance of around 1 MHz, making them a good choice with an excellent quality/price ratio. Dual-frequency devices (433 and 868 MHz) are highly resistant to jammers and interferences, making them almost impossible to hack. They are very practical for systems protecting high-value areas or items.
Finally, wired detectors are very practical because they do not allow interferences or jamming. For these types of models, it is best to hide the wiring networks. A discreet security system is very difficult for even an expert burglar to assess.
