The machine operates by the rotational drive of a spindle in which the drill bit is held by the chuck. The drill press is an ideal tool for easily achieving ultra-precise drilling.
The drill press is a tool whose use is simply essential in a workshop. It is notably used for working with wood or sometimes metal depending on the craftsman's specialties. In carpentry, the drill press is especially used for making mortises with very high precision. The device can be of large dimensions or small size depending on whether it is to be placed on the floor or installed on a workbench. It is practical equipment to meet multiple needs of the versatile handyman. Thanks to the many models offered, professionals can thus choose the one that truly meets their needs. When acquiring the equipment, they must evaluate the machining capabilities of the device and various characteristics: minimum and maximum speed in rpm, power, weight, dimensions, distance between column and head, available height between column and head, table movement, etc. Several brands of high-quality drill presses, offering real reliability in use, are available on the shelf: Fartools, Bosch, Hitachi, Sidamo, Einhell...
