There's a few of these on the market and almost all only have a 2 temperature control and on the 1 setting I find it to high you have no control over the heat you can't turn down to a simmer it's a constant boil not for me my daughter can have it. I personally wouldn't recommend it they seem to be for Asian cooking the description mentions dumplings and noodles chinease and Japanese cooking who cook at a high temperature.
