General description

Replace your broken or worn key fob with this compatible CE0523 flip key shell for Peugeot and Citroen models. This product is designed for easy replacement, allowing you to use your existing blade and electronics.

Technical specifications

Key shell model: CE0523

Blade model: HU83 or VA2 (with or without groove)

Installation

Step 1: Check the model number of your current key shell (CE0536 or CE0523).

Step 2: Choose the appropriate model for your needs.

Step 3: Order the selected model. Once received, the installation is straightforward.

You will need a pin punch or hammer and a nail for the installation.

Follow the provided video tutorial to replace your old key shell with the new one.

Usage

This key shell is ideal for replacing a broken or worn key fob, or one with damaged buttons. Please note that the electronic circuit and battery are not included; they must be retrieved from your old key shell.

Perfect for an old C3. Recovering the metal key requires a few tools like on the original key

Too bad, this case could have been suitable but that was not the case, the location of the battery is not in the same place on my original key and on the product purchased.... €11 in the trash ! This very important detail is not mentioned on the site. For your information, it is not easy to exchange the key itself even if the very good explanatory video made by JLMECA helped me a lot!

This hull is not suitable, I could not put the elements of the old one back in, the reserves (the internal shape of the hull), do not match.

Hello, There is no housing to insert the battery. It is for a Peugeot 307, the remote control is identical to mine but not usable. A wasted order!
