It's good, but the tightening screw doesn't allow for optimal pressing of the soft material. However, it does the job, and for the volume I press, it meets my expectations.

Customer reviews
We were quite surprised how tiny the kit was on arrival, as have been used to borrowing our son's home made set up which is big! But this is actually an amazing little bit of equipment. It seems strong and well made. We soon organised an easier working arrangement, and found that mounting the scratter on a stand (just something used for other things in the garage) and putting a wine making bucket underneath, really helped back ache! Winding can be hard work, depending on the apples, but is perfectly manageable! Hubby was chief presser, and he screwed the press to a wooden pallet which helped to stabilise it, and made pressing much easier. With softer apples, he did need to rinse the net several times as bits came through and it got somewhat bitty. I did put some juice through muslin before sterilising to strain off some bits that got away! We had a really fun couple of afternoons, and produced 34 litres of yummy juice from apples that simply would have gone to waste, as mostly all fallers. There have been so many this year, simply too many for crumbles and pies!!! Very pleased!
I loved this press. We have grapes growing in the garden and it was so quick and easy to juice the 12kg of grapes we had. So easy to clean and small enough to store easily. I love it.
Product delivered with a single bag, I find that it is little. Difficult on the photo to realize the size of the product, 30 liters is actually quite small (20 kg of apples maximum). It is imperative to fix the press on a support for ease of use.
Great value for a small fruit press (6 kilos) I pressed my first 2 litres of apple juice and it so easy. Ideal for someone who isn't looking to produce large volumes.
Much better quality than expected :)
