Américaine de Construction d'Outillage à Main" was founded in Paris in 1918 by an engineer, Louis Mosés. FACOM has remained true to its entrepreneurial roots by supporting Team SLR, created in 2011 by Sébastien Loeb and Dominique Heintz, to help young racing drivers take part in F1 Grand Prix events such as the Porsche Carrera Cup and the FFSA French GT Championship.
