Published on 14/10/2025, United KingdomThese looked as if they might work, but when I put them down the WC, they didn't extract anything except a little paper round the shaft - it is still partially blocked. What was worse, although the long one went all the way round various corners, it very nearly got jammed down there, and I thought I was going to have to take the WC off and dismantle the waste pipe. Fortunately, it did come free in the end - but it was a nasty moment. I will not be trying that again.
