The spanner was missing from the kit. Not a problem. The parasol turns downwind in light winds no matter how tight the fastenings. Strong power is needed to open it up, or close it down. The weights needed make it difficult to move and they occupy substantial floor space. Otherwise it seems to be well fabricated.

The only problem with this product is that it unstable in strong winds even with the addition of a heavy base which I bought separately.
