General Description

The smart lock is a versatile and secure door accessory designed for homes, offices, apartments, and hotels. It offers five unlocking methods: via the Tuya app, fingerprint, PIN code, mechanical key, and IC card, providing both convenience and security. Using an FPC sensor, it enables rapid fingerprint recognition in just 0.5 seconds. Valid PIN codes are 6 to 10 digits long and support up to 16 virtual PIN codes. It is compatible with the Tuya Smart (BT) app, available on app stores such as the App Store (iOS), Google Play, Amazon Appstore, and Aptoide. On your smartphone, you can open BT, tap "Add Device," select "BT Keypad," then "Add Device," and finally connect it. Recordings can be checked via the cloud. The fingerprint handle is powered by 4 AAA batteries (not included). When the battery voltage drops below 4.8V, a voice warning is emitted each time the door is opened (approximately 100 uses remaining). It features an emergency USB power interface, allowing it to be powered by an external battery in case of battery failure. The fingerprint door handle has an anti-burglary alarm function: after 5 unsuccessful PIN attempts or 30 unsuccessful fingerprint attempts, the system locks for 90 seconds and sounds an alarm. It supports the generation of temporary PIN codes via the mobile app. Made of aluminum alloy with an anodized surface treatment, it is robust. The fingerprint collection window uses semiconductor bioactivity recognition with a collection resolution of 500 DPI. It can store 100 fingerprints, 50 sets of PIN codes (6-10 digits long, supporting up to 16 virtual PINs), and 30 IC cards.

  Usage

  1. Installation: Follow the instructions in the manual to install the lock on the door, using the screws and tool kit provided.
  2. Power Supply: Insert 4 AAA batteries into the fingerprint handle (batteries not included).
  3. Setup via App: Download the Tuya Smart (BT) app to your smartphone.Open BT on your phone, tap "Add Device," select "BT Keypad," then "Add Device" again, and connect the lock.
  4. Registering Fingerprints: In the app, tap "Member Management," select a member, and then tap "Add."Follow the voice prompts to place your finger 5 times on the fingerprint recognition area, fine-tuning your finger's position each time for complete registration.
  5. Setting PIN Codes: In the app, select "Temporary PIN Code" and choose from 4 PIN types: "Time-Limited," "Unique," "Dynamic," and "Custom."
  6. Passover Mode: To activate Passage Mode, turn off "Auto-Lock" and unlock the lock once.To deactivate, turn on "Auto-Lock" and unlock the lock once.In Passage Mode, anyone can open the door without authorization.
  7. Resetting via App: In the app, tap "Delete Device" and then "Confirm" to delete and reset the lock.If the lock is offline, swipe your finger across the main interface to bring it online.
  8. Reset with reset hole:
     • Detach the front handle.
     • Lightly press the RET reset hole while disassembling and replacing the USB interface.
     • Use a small object (such as a stylus) to press the reset hole until you hear a beep every second. Release it when the beeps stop. The system will automatically restore factory settings in less than 5 seconds, and a voice message will indicate successful restoration.
