Operation Mode

1. Pre-Scan Calibration Tool

Once the mode is selected, press and hold the Scan button (located to the right of the tool) to calibrate the tool. Wait for the reduction lever to disappear and beep to confirm that the calibration is complete. If you accidentally shake or lift the scanner, the device needs to be recalibrated and placed in the air in metal/AC mode for calibration

2. Scan the wall

Once the stud finder finds the material, the LCD screen will show the direction and the intensity of the beep will tell you if you are closer to the target.
