General description

This Wall Finder 4 in 1 Wall Metal Detector is designed to accurately detect the center position of wooden studs, metal, and AC cables in walls made of wooden boards and plasterboard. It is an essential tool for installing TVs, cabinets, and drilling holes in walls.

Installation

Calibrate the detector before each scan by selecting the mode and pressing the scan button.

Calibration is complete when the dim bar disappears and a beep sounds.

In metal/AC mode, place the detector in the air for calibration.

Usage

Use the stud scan mode to locate the center and edge of wooden and metal studs.

Utilize the depth mode to measure the depth of objects behind walls.

Employ the metal scan mode to detect metal objects.

Activate the AC scan mode to find AC cables.

The screen displays detection mode, signal strength, and direction indication.

The buzzer's intensity varies based on the distance to the target, allowing you to mark the position where the sound is loudest.

Includes an AC warning function.

Delivered on time. Works perfectly. Good surprise, the 9V battery is included. Note that the user manual, very detailed, is only in English.

In fact, this device detects everything in its environment at a distance of 20 cm. You can detect an 8 mm rod behind a board, but within 10 cm. If you put 2 8 mm rods, then it rings non-stop. In short, do not count on this equipment to locate an electrical wire embedded in a wall.

Detector sensitivity problem. Either it rings all the time (even 30 cm from the electrical outlet) or it detects absolutely nothing.
