Features:

-The gauge is available with an unmarked stem or a graduated stem. The shaft of the Imperial gauge is graduated in 6" increments; the metric version has graduations in 150mm increments. Patented.

-The hardened steel wheel cuts the wood fibers rather than tearing them, leaving a clean mark, even on cross grain.

-The one-sided bevel of the wheels also forces the gauge face against the stock, maintaining accuracy.

-The cutting edge of the wheel sits at the end of the shaft, which is useful for transferring dimensions such as tenon shoulder or mortise depth. The wheel retracts into the gauge face for storage.

-The single-shaft scriber has a scale that supports fine-tuning distance for accurate scribing.
