This tension gauge is for adjusting the tension of drive belts where the movement of the timing belt is measured by load (daN) (1daN = 10N). The tool is suitable for belts with various serpentine and thicknesses.
Its adjustable dual scale graduations is readable from front and back of tool.
Made from hardened steel with a smooth rolling screw action and knurled grip edge for maximum grip and durability.

Published on 31/03/2017, FranceThe only issue is that on my Renault, the tension can only be taken with a frequency meter, so this device doesn't give any reading at all. I would therefore suggest you first measure the tension, then take it apart and put it back together with a bit more tension.

Published on 03/10/2017, FranceEverything is of very good quality except that there is a lack of grease on the threading. The manufacturer's lube is of poor quality, that's why.
