Description

General description

Smartseal Anti-Condensation Paint is a heat modified acrylic copolymer emulsion paint designed for interior walls and ceilings. It is suitable for use in bathrooms, kitchens, and bedrooms, effectively reducing condensation build-up and preventing the growth of black spot mould. Available in a range of popular colours, it provides an eye-catching finish and is ideal for properties with low insulation or cold external walls.

Installation

Ensure surfaces are clean, dry, and free from contaminants.

Clean and neutralise any mould or mildew with Smartseal Mould & Mildew Remover.

Fill any surface defects with a good quality plaster filler.

Smartseal Anti-Condensation Paint can cover most matt-finish emulsions; however, be cautious with eggshell, silk, and vinyl finishes.

Long-standing mould infestations may require additional decoration to hide stains.

Usage

Stir thoroughly before use.

Apply at least 2 coats using a brush or roller.

For dark or strong colours, an additional coat may be necessary.

Do not apply at air or surface temperatures below 10°C or in high humidity areas.

Other information

Wear a face mask (minimum FFP3) during surface preparation and cleaning.

Wear protective gloves during preparation and application.

Avoid contact with skin and eyes; wash immediately with plenty of water if contact occurs.

Keep out of reach of children and ensure the area is well-ventilated during application and drying.

Dispose of empty containers responsibly.
