General description

Smartseal Anti-Condensation Paint is a heat modified acrylic copolymer emulsion paint designed for interior walls and ceilings. It is particularly suitable for use in bathrooms, kitchens, and bedrooms, effectively reducing condensation build-up and preventing the growth of black spot mould. Available in a variety of popular colors, this paint not only enhances the aesthetic appeal of your space but also addresses common issues related to moisture and mould.

Installation

Ensure surfaces are clean, dry, and free from contaminants before application.

Clean and neutralize any mould or mildew using Smartseal Mould & Mildew Remover.

Fill any surface defects with a good quality plaster filler before painting.

Smartseal Anti-Condensation Paint can cover most matt-finish emulsions; however, be cautious when painting over eggshell, silk, and vinyl finishes.

Long-standing mould infestations may leave stains; consider decorating to disguise these after application.

Usage

Stir thoroughly before use.

Apply at least 2 coats using a brush or roller.

For dark or strong colors, an additional coat may be necessary.

Do not apply at air or surface temperatures below 10°C or in high humidity areas.

Other information

Wear a face mask (minimum FFP3) during surface preparation and cleaning.

Use protective gloves during preparation and application.

Avoid contact with skin and eyes; wash immediately with plenty of water if contact occurs.

Keep out of reach of children and ensure the area is well-ventilated during application and drying.

Dispose of empty containers responsibly.
