Installation

The product requires some time after unpacking to reach its desired state. It is recommended to unfold the rug as soon as possible, allowing up to 72 hours for it to straighten. Placing a heavy weight on the ends can enhance the effect.

Usage

To preserve the quality and longevity of the material, avoid laying the rug in high-traffic areas. Creasing is a natural process for genuine leather, and over time, the leather may stretch and not return to its original shape. Any differences in color or texture, such as blemishes or creases, are natural occurrences and not considered defects.

Maintenance tips:

To remove loose dirt and dust, shake the rug out, preferably outside.

Place the rug on a cotton cloth and beat it gently with your hand; do not use a rug beater as it may damage the delicate leather.

Brush the pile regularly with a carpet & upholstery brush; avoid vacuuming as it may cause threads to loosen.

Remove any stains immediately using a damp, non-staining cloth, cleaning from the edge to the middle without rubbing.

Use only leather-recommended cleaners or contact an expert for tough stain removal.

If the rug gets wet, allow it to dry away from heat sources.

Periodically turn your rug 180° to ensure even wear and prevent fading from sun exposure.

For comfortable use, air out the unpacked rug for at least a few hours (ideally one or two days) to allow the natural scent of the material to fade.
