These chairs are very beautiful! simple assembly, quality product, the solid wood is heavy, I am delighted!

It is true that the color is darker than the photo, although I have sanded it a bit and it has turned out well. The problem is the assembly, the holes do not coincide, we have had to sand a lot of wood and put other screws to assemble it....it has cost us a lot.

I love the height and the sturdiness of both stool but I was SO disappointed with the colour of the stain it was VERY dark and the colours of the paint effect were very bright . Neither was a true reflection of the advertised photo. The look I needed so i could have returned them but I decided to challenge myself and have ordered varnish stripper and paint to try and get the look advertised. I wanted customer service to acknowledge this by photographs to compare and maybe to rectify this problem for future sales but the sent me a £15 refund which just about covered the varnish

These stools are darker than pictured. Otherwise they are fine. I made a mistake when I ordered I hadn't paid attention to the seat which is much too high for my island but solution found we cut the feet. Now they are at good height

Very suitable in a vintage context, stable and massive. Important color variation compared to the photo, not so much in the colored parts (this is specified and absolutely predictable), but in the tone of the wood, much much darker than it appears in the photo. Some reviews said it but I thought it was a less dark shade. They are still beautiful and complement my vintage high table decor beautifully.

Very Happy with the chairs, fitted in nicely with our project and got a back story ripped from an old boat.
