Published on 01/06/2026, FranceThe bed is quite sturdy. The slatted base is made of rigid planks, so the support is firm. This suits me, but might not be suitable if you prefer a softer sleeping surface. The wood is of good quality for the price, but assembly is rather laborious and can become a real chore if you don't have a power drill (nearly 70 wood screws to drive in). Furthermore, the instructions aren't very clear, and the measurements are in inches. Allow at least 3 hours for assembly if you're alone, and guaranteed frustration if you're not handy.
