General description

Bedec Barn Paint is a tough, water-based paint designed for use on a variety of surfaces including wood, plastic, concrete, weathered galvanized steel, brick, and cladding. Available in a Semi-Gloss finish, it offers exceptional color retention and is suitable for protecting exterior buildings such as barns, stables, sheds, and more. This product can be applied to previously painted surfaces, including those coated with weathered bitumen, tar, or varnish.

Installation

Ensure the surface is clean, dry, and free from contaminants before application.

For untreated weathered wood or porous substrates, dilute the first coat with up to 30% clean water as a primer sealer.

Apply an exterior knot block primer to knots before painting to minimize bleed-through.

Light sanding is recommended for tanalised timber prior to application.

Bedec Barn Paint is ideal for a wide range of applications, including fencing, gates, farm equipment, tanks, drainpipes, doors, windows, and various outdoor structures. It is designed to flex with the substrate, reducing the likelihood of flaking or cracking, and provides excellent resistance against weather, rot, and algal damage.
