Bedec Barn Paint is a tough, water-based paint designed for a variety of surfaces including wood, plastic, concrete, weathered galvanised steel, brick, and cladding. It offers exceptional colour retention and is available in multiple finishes such as Semi-Gloss, Matt, and Satin, with a wide range of colours including Black, Grey, Country Cream, Dark Oak, Chestnut, and Jacobean Walnut. This paint is ideal for protecting exterior buildings like barns, stables, sheds, and fences, providing a durable coating that flexes with the substrate to minimize flaking and cracking.

Installation

Ensure the surface is clean, dry, and free from contaminants before application.

For untreated weathered wood or porous substrates, dilute the first coat with up to 30% clean water as a primer sealer.

Apply an exterior knot block primer to knots before painting to prevent them from bleeding through.

Can be applied by brush, roller, or spray.

Usage

Suitable for exterior applications on wood, plastic, concrete, weathered galvanised steel, brick, and cladding.

Recommended for fencing, gates, farm equipment, tanks, drainpipes, doors, and windows.

Not recommended for substrates treated with water-repellent preservatives.

Light sanding is advised before application on tanalised timber.
