Very basic teak quality!

Bedside tables purchased to go with a teak headboard that I already had. What a difference in quality ... The wood of the bedside tables is raw, not even sanded, it is a more than 'rustic' finish, I would even say 'coarse'. A piece of wood from a drawer was broken and found at the bottom of the box. I even keep these bedside tables because the dimensions and design suit me. My husband had to repair the drawer, and I'm going to have to sand, probably with an eccentric sander (too much work on the hand) and apply 2 coats of finishing oil. In summary: really poor quality, and way too expensive for what it is. You have to be a handyman to have a finished product on arrival ...
