Description

General description

The UK made Belgravia Log Cabin is a popular building that combines the attributes of a traditional summerhouse with the structure and performance of a log cabin. The frameless interior provides an authentic log cabin experience, and with an internal height of over 7 ft, it offers a comfortable space. The glazed front allows plenty of natural light, while the roof canopy provides shade when necessary. All glazing is toughened glass, and both windows and doors feature high-quality mortise and tenon joinery, fitted with draft excluders to enhance the storm-resistant design. The lockable double door and opening window position at the front are interchangeable.

Installation

This log cabin requires a solid, flat, and level base to sit on. Grass, soil, or gravel are not sufficient as they will move under the weight of the building. Allowance should be made for the roof overhang and for access around the outside during construction and subsequent treatment. Please note that log cabins are supplied as individual log boards that are assembled length by length, building up from the floor, rather than as pre-made panels.

Usage

The building is delivered untreated, allowing you to paint or stain it immediately following installation with a good quality wood paint or stain.

Other information

The floor bearers are pressure treated for long life. Features include toughened glass as standard, draft excluders on all doors and windows, and traditional log cabin construction.
