Hozelock Biomix Homemade Liquid Feed Plant Food Fertiliser Maker is an efficient solution for creating nutrient-rich liquid feed from plants like nettles and comfrey. This composter features a closed tank with a lid and mixing action that accelerates the decomposition of leaves while containing any unpleasant odors. It allows you to produce homemade plant feed easily and sustainably, promoting a chemical-free garden.

Usage

Fill the tank with 1kg of plant material.

Add 10L of water and close the lid.

Mix every 2 days for 1 to 3 weeks, depending on outdoor temperature.

Filter the mixture to recover the liquid fertiliser, which is ready to use.

Can be diluted with water for spraying on plants.

Other information

Includes a booklet to assist in choosing suitable plants.

Features an integral strainer and tap for easy draining without splashing.

Comfrey is bee-friendly and high in potassium and micro-nutrients.

Lavender solution can deter ants, while bracken fern repels aphids.

I haven't used the product yet, I'm waiting for the comfrey to grow. The tank seems sturdy.
