Usage
The sturdy structure offers reliable coverage while the open design allows airflow around the unit, making it suitable for year-round placement.
Creates a protective barrier that helps reduce contact with branches, grass clippings, dirt, and other common debris.
The simple design helps the AC unit blend into the surrounding space while keeping the area neat and organized.
The smooth surface is easy to wipe clean with a damp cloth when dust or dirt collects.
The open-frame design also allows convenient access for inspection, seasonal cleaning, and regular servicing without removing the entire cover.
Agree w/everyone that this is hard to assemble. The screw holes need to be slightly opened up. This can be done by twisting one of the screws into the small holes, then untwisting, prior to assembly. It's still quite fiddly but at least the screws go in and tighten relatively easily. The metal sheets seem decent quality and it's fairly sturdy once assembled.

The case looks good once it's assembled. But assembling it isn't easy with so many threads. It's the first time I've seen such a simple product assembled in such a complicated way.

Advantages Excellent packaging. The parts are perfectly protected by layers of cardboard and custom-made wooden inserts. The delivery driver handled the package with care; it arrived intact. Delivery was quite fast. The metal parts and screw holes are perfectly crafted and fitted. The whole thing is lightweight (very thin sheet metal) but solid and rigid. The metal is Corten steel; good quality… The craftsmanship is solid. The price is reasonable. The overall look is aesthetically pleasing, blending modern design with vintage style thanks to its rusted patina (a rare feature among these models). Disadvantages We have to patina the cover ourselves by letting it rust (see instructions). It's not difficult in itself, but it's messy on the floor (see photo), and you'll then have to fix the rust with appropriate products. The instructions! The description and identification of the parts are inadequate, so you'll need to use your brain! All visuals… not even a word of English to help you. The diagrams are small and should be scanned to enlarge them on your computer. Take the time to carefully identify the parts, their orientation, and their function before starting (it's easy if done properly). Absolutely use a screwdriver that fits the heads of the provided screws; you'll need to apply considerable force… without stripping them. A standard screwdriver won't work. Warning!! The screwdriver head must be magnetic to insert the screws into spaces inaccessible to your fingers. Otherwise, it's mission impossible. Finally, the cover has the drawback of being very opaque and significantly restricting the fan's airflow. The perforations are certainly aesthetically pleasing but small. The front panel consists of two identical plates joined together: its center has no holes. That's a large surface area that doesn't "breathe." I suspected this problem when I bought it. My solution: I shifted the machine within the cover to position the fan facing the grille. This was impossible given the size of the model… I enlarged the openings by carefully cutting out pieces of sheet metal that separate them using pliers designed for this purpose (see the left side of the cover in the photo). This is effective and, in my opinion, still looks good. In short: sturdy, attractive, but very opaque.
