Product information
Description
The CYL-9 MultiConstruction Drill Bit delivers stable drilling in all kinds of materials. Its centring tip provides a steady drilling start and good guidance universally. The diameter-optimised AWB brazing and hardening technology increases the robustness of the 2-cutter drill bit and reduces vibration during use. Additionally, the bit's 4-flute dura design with a reinforced core section delivers better wear resistance and stability when drilling soft concrete.
The bit is intended for practically all materials in interior fitting work, e.g. soft concrete, masonry, brick, cement asbestos, light building materials, multilayer materials, ceramics and tiles, wood, plastic, sheet metals and aluminium.
The CYL-9 MultiConstruction Drill Bit is equipped with diamond-ground cutting edges and a special ground tip, making it perfect for multipurpose drilling. Consisting of fine-grade highly durable carbide, this bit has extra-long life and offers the best wear resistance. As proof of quality, the drill bit bears the test mark of the PGM Masonry Drill Bit Association Board, guaranteeing compliance with tight tolerances, exact drilling and the firm hold of fixings. It is compatible with cylindrical shank systems for all corded or cordless drills, enabling perfect results when drilling with or without impact.

From hammer drills to drill drivers, your choice of drill will come down to the type of tasks you want to complete. For example, a cordless drill is better for driving screws while a corded drill is best suited to drilling. Read on for our tips on picking the right torque, RPM, impact rate, battery and chuck type.
In 1886, Robert Bosch, a 25-year-old German engineer, founded an electrical engineering company in Stuttgart. He was returning from a long professional trip to the United States that had led him to work for Thomas Edison, one of the greatest engineers in history. Bosch improved the ignition magnet the following year, to be the first to adapt it to a car engine. This innovation allowed him to develop his business at a steady pace. In the 1920s, he converted his company from automotive supplier to electronics manufacturer. The company has been able to distinguish itself from other brands of DIY power tools by aiming for long-term and high-end, from its famous green drill to complex products such as rippers or garden tools (sculpts -hays, chainsaws ...). This was the success we know. Bosch currently employs 280,000 people worldwide and generates 46 billion euros in sales. Bosch spends up to 10% of its turnover on R & D, a rare effort in the industry. 92% of the capital of Robert Bosch GmbH is held by a charitable foundation Robert Bosch Stiftung GmbH. Thus the profits of the company are donated to this foundation. The remaining 8% of capital is held by the descendants of Robert Bosch's family.
