Battery & Mains Powered

The Bristan Infrared basin tap requires 4 AA batteries (not included) so if there is every a power issue with your mains, your tap will continue to work from the batteries. The tap can also be used on just the batteries alone, but it is recommended to have both in place for peace of mind.
 

Hygienic Infrared Sensor

This tap is incredibly hygienic as you don�t have to touch a handle to turn it on. Simply wave your hand in front of the clever infrared sensor located at the base of the tap to turn the water on. The water is on a timed flow, so it will automatically turn off after a certain amount of time, so you don�t have to turn anything off! 
 

Mixer Tap

A lot of properties still feature separate taps for hot and cold water. They take up a lot of space around your basin and make it difficult to wash your hands, providing you with scolding hot or freezing cold water. You can easily avoid this with a mixer tap. They connect both your hot and cold feed to the same tap body, using just a single tap hole on your basin. They�re easy to control with a single lever and allow you to get your desired water temperature each and every time.

They grew from strength to strength and eventually began to sell showers as well, furthering the potential of the company. In 2004 they had grown to such an extent that they were bought by a global housewares company, Masco. Bristan continues to provide excellent bathroom products, with fresh new designs constantly emerging.
