Carlton High Level Traditional Toilet WC Victorian + FREE Soft Close Seat

I don't usually give bad reviews but this toilet isn't fit for purpose and shouldn't be on the market. I'm not exaggerating, the product I received had two major design flaws, rendering the toilet essentially useless; 1. the chrome pipe supplied is bent/kinked at the wrong angle, the only way my builders were able to fit the toilet is by tilting the bottom of the porcelain tank away from the wall. Otherwise the only other way would have been to carve a groove for the pipe in the wall! 2. the flush lever pivots on an adjustable hinge bracket that slips down every time the toilet is flushed and has to be pushed back up after every use, otherwise it won't flush. Tightening the bracket doesn't solve this problem, I'm trying to think of a way of glueing it in place. Additionally, the chrome covers at either end of the chrome pipe have no means of being secured other than a flimsy rubber gasket. They remain permanently lose, the bottom cover doesn't even sit straight over the pipe, it just flops loose. Overall very disappointing, the product wasn't even particularly cheap... another 100 quid would have bought a proper name brand hi-flush toilet. I'd have returned the toilet immediately but these problems only became apparent while the toilet was being fitted, by which time it was too late to return.

Previously we ordered this high rise traditional toilet to be installed in a down stairs toilet. Product arrived quickly. Everything arrived with the toilet for fitting. My brother who is not a plumber {although he is good with his DIY} fitted the Loo. We are currently renovating the upstairs bathroom and have ordered the same toilet. Great toilet, great price.
