Product description: In conventional electrician's screwdrivers the blade diameter is often too large to reach low-lying screws. However, removing the insulation is not permitted and also compromises the user's safety. In the Wiha slimTECHNOLOGY specially developed for electric applications, the protective insulation has been integrated into the blade with thus resulting in blades that are up to 33% slimmer. This means low-lying screws and spring elements can also be easily reached with the slimBits. The insulated slimBits are regularly individually tested according to the international standard IEC 60900 and allow safe working with live parts up to 1,000 V AC. In addition, the slimBits are stored in a smart bit box that allows an optimal view of the screw profiles.
