I was pleasantly surprised. It was quite, versatile and great to look at. Unlike conventional fans, it turned out to be a feature of the room, without it ‘being in your face. A cool produce, if you’re after a cool room. ?

I have had four of these types of fans, from different retail outlets (online), and more than one from ManoMano. Unfortunately, they are all cheaply made Chinese rubbish and start exhibiting faults (one was sent back and swapped as it died quite quickly). Within months, they start beeping horrendously when you turn power on to them, and later they either burn out or stop working (light and / or fan). If they weren't so cheaply made, they would be a good design as the light they give is great and dimmable, and the fan is really nice (esp. if oscillating) to keep you cool. I would not recommend, nor buy again.

I like the ease of installation and use. I didn’t like the cheaply installed parts like the cover coming off of the controller + the earth cable breaking from its connection on the fan.
